Mirage Estate is a dream-play folded inside Pangzhen, reached only through the Green Serpent House after the city’s main threads are tied. It is the game’s first true ending cutoff, so treat the threshold with respect: once you step through, every unfinished purple quest, uncollected Crystal Eye, and unlit Long Pillar is locked away. The route below assumes you arrive with the True Ending checklist already satisfied; if you have not yet cleared Meigu Lake and the Mountain of Imprisonment, turn back now.

Story Context

The Herald, Leng Tu, has built a “Perfect Vessel” scheme around Yu’Er and the Radiant Heart. Mirage Estate is his stage — a distorted manor of opera halls, training grounds, and willow pavilions where memory and performance blur. Lei Dang, the blacksmith who repaired your Flaming Mane back in Pangzhen, lets you pass through the Green Serpent House, then meets you at the end as a final act of friendship. Three mandatory bosses guard the path: Qiu Feng at the Mourning Hall, Yuding at the Training Grounds, and Lei Dang himself at the Perfect Vessel Pond. The fifth Long Pillar trial against Mo Yuan also waits here, and it is the last one you can complete before the ending.

Step-by-Step Route

  1. Enter via the Green Serpent House. Use the three Serpent keys to activate the mechanism and open the passage. A warning appears on screen — this is the first True Ending cutoff. If any purple-icon quest remains open, back out now.
  2. Ring the Estate Rear Gate bell. From here, follow the path to the Nuo Mask Altar, then climb to Back Hill and through the Shaded Bamboo Path.
  3. Reach the Opera House. Use the Opera Ticket at the entrance to unlock the performance. Inside, proceed to the Mourning Hall and defeat Qiu Feng (mandatory). He drops the Wraith Mask.
  4. Continue to the Training Grounds. Defeat Yuding (mandatory) for the Crescent Blade. This is one of the four Great Puppets required for trophy cleanup, so do not skip it.
  5. From the Training Grounds, locate the Mirage Estate Long Pillar. Complete the fifth trial against Mo Yuan (optional but required for the True Ending). He drops the Bastion of Mo Mask. This is the final Long Pillar — after this, Bloodline Awakening is complete.
  6. Return to the main path and cross the Covered Corridor to the Willow Pavilion. Explore the side rooms here for collectibles (see below).
  7. Enter Leng Tu’s Study and read the documents if you care for lore. Then proceed to the Perfect Vessel Estate.
  8. At the Perfect Vessel Pond, defeat Lei Dang (mandatory). He drops the Tiger Cannon. After the fight, the path to Mount Soulrend opens — this is your next region.

Mandatory Bosses

Boss Location Reward Notes
Qiu Feng Opera House, Mourning Hall Wraith Mask Parry his second cut; punish the lunge.
Yuding Training Grounds Crescent Blade Guard sweeps; his last-quarter grab can kill.
Lei Dang Perfect Vessel Pond Tiger Cannon Red aim line means a shot — dodge sideways.

All three are required for the Normal ending. None are missable within Mirage Estate itself, but the entire region is missable if you never enter it.

Optional Bosses

Mo Yuan (Gold-Masked One, 5/5) — Mirage Estate Long Pillar. This is the fifth and final Long Pillar trial, required for the True Ending. He is the hardest of the five Gold-Masked fights: patient counters and parrying his red blade are the only reliable openings. Reward: Bastion of Mo Mask. If you have completed the previous four pillars, this is your last chance to finish Bloodline Awakening.

Tales and Collectibles

  • Quick Hand’s Last Treasures — A short tale chain that concludes in Mirage Estate. Sources conflict on whether this is required for the True Ending; Fextralife lists it, PowerPyx does not. Treat it as recommended, not confirmed. Complete it before leaving the region.
  • Nuo Mask — Found at the Nuo Mask Altar early in the route. This is a key item tied to the estate’s theme; pick it up as you pass.
  • Memory Flowers — Mirage Estate contains several of the ten total Memory Flowers in the game. Check the Willow Pavilion’s side rooms and the Covered Corridor’s alcoves. Exact counts are not confirmed in available sources.
  • Leng Tu’s Study — Contains lore documents and a chest with upgrade materials. No boss here.

What Is Missable Before Leaving

Within Mirage Estate itself, the only missable content is the fifth Long Pillar (Mo Yuan) and Quick Hand’s Last Treasures. The fifth pillar is required for the True Ending; Quick Hand is recommended but unconfirmed. Do both before defeating Lei Dang, as the path to Mount Soulrend opens immediately after and there is no backtracking to the estate’s optional areas.

Next Region

After Lei Dang falls, the way to Mount Soulrend opens — the final snow mountain and the game’s last region. Ring the Mountain God Temple bell to begin the climb. Before you go, save manually; the next checkpoint, The Last Chance, is the final point of no return before the ending sequence. If you have completed the True Ending checklist, the gold portal at Soulrend Cliff will appear after Meng Hua, leading to the true final boss.

Sources & Confidence

This walkthrough draws primarily on PowerPyx’s played route and Fextralife’s Game Progress Route, cross-checked against kungfupunk’s walkthrough and pbz.gg’s boss data. The biggest uncertainty is the Quick Hand’s Last Treasures tale: Fextralife lists it as True Ending-required, PowerPyx does not, and no primary source settles the conflict. Treat it as recommended. The fifth Long Pillar’s location in Mirage Estate is confirmed by the majority of sources, though a minority places it in Crimson Manor.
